PlusZero is an international perishable logistics business, offering air, sea, and road transportation options – all commencing at the operations hub located in Kempton Park, conveniently located to major transport routes, as well as O.R Tambo International Airport.
PlusZero plans to own and operate fifty refrigerated trailers, pulled by twenty five Mercedes Benz horses (PlusZero is loyal to Mercedez horses, Serco trailers and Michelin tires). These trucks travel into and around Southern Africa, commencing from South Africa to Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique. The main mission is to fill all Northbound trucks with mixed cargo loads for retail purposes at their end location, for which PlusZero aims to earn a transport and service fee.
On the Southbound front (coming from African countries, into South Africa), perishable goods are collected from various locations as mentioned above, returning to South Africa for domestic consumption, as well as exportation. The perishable products are then sold by retailers – PlusZero loyal customers – Woolworths, Pick and Pay, Spar, etc. PlusZero settles the import duties on the goods to ensure a seamless procedure before end customer. With this, the end customer has no hassles with getting the goods into the country, the import chain is complete.
